There is an ongoing outbreak of infectious syphilis affecting young people, predominately aged between 15 and 29 years, now involving most states and capital cities as well as regional centres. This session will focus on a clinical update on syphilis including screening, detection, and management.
Dr Bell is a highly experienced Consultant Sexual Health Physician at the Department of Health in South Australia. She runs the HIV Women’s Clinic at the Royal Adelaide Hospital Infectious Diseases Department, providing expert care, including reproductive health care, for women, and their partners affected by HIV. Dr Bell also cares for patients with Hepatitis C and consults women about their general sexual health.
This clinical education webinar will benefit any GP or Nurse with an interest in sexually transmitted infection or public health.
