Successful Adelaide Travel Bug Vaccination Clinic, is Acquired by Better Medical After 25 Years

Better Medical is proud to announce the acquisition of Adelaide’s highly regarded Travel Bug Vaccination Clinic.

Having recently moved from North Adelaide to Norwood, Travel Bug’s practice owners Dr Brian Gilbert and Lani Ramsey wanted to ensure their successful business was left in the right hands when the time came for them to take a step back.

Travel Bug Site Manager Kim said it was very important to Brian and Lani that Travel Medicine remained the key focus of the practice, and that its high standard of excellence in Travel Medicine continued to be maintained and enhanced.

“It is also important to build upon the clinic’s strong 25-year reputation, ensuring success for a further 25 years, and beyond.

“Brian was very comfortable with Better Medical’s light-touch approach to the acquisition and how genuine they were through the entire transition process,” Kim said.

“Ultimately they’ve provided us with an overlying layer of support with extra tools and resources available to us when needed. It has also enabled Brian to focus his time on being a travel doctor specialist rather than time spent on the many onerous business functions that are necessary to run a successful clinic.”

It is important for the Travel Bug Vaccination Clinic to continue their outstanding travel health services to Adelaide while now also being able to plan for the future from their new and improved Norwood clinic. Its goal is to also secure the services of additional Travel Medicine specialists to take the clinic forward.
