Gisborne Medical Centre is located in the Macedon Ranges, just 30 minutes from Melbourne. We are a busy AGPAL accredited private-billing practice open over seven days. Our practice offers convenient access to emergency, pathology, medical imaging and pharmacy service providers. We pride ourself on providing high-quality healthcare to the local community, and our GPs and nursing staff are supported by a broad range of allied health services, including psychology, physiotherapy, podiatry, dietetics and diabetes education. We also proudly support quality lifelong learning of our colleagues by providing medical student and registrar supervision and training.

Due to ongoing high patient demand we currently have an exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner seeking full-time or part-time sessions to join our Gisborne Medical Centre team. Daytime and after-hours sessions are available. While working within our practice, you will be supported by our experienced practice management, administrative, nursing, marketing and IT teams. Teamwork is highly valued and encouraged in our practice, enabling us to offer high quality patient care in a relaxed and friendly environment.

About the clinic

Just 45 minutes from the Melbourne CBD, you’ll find Gisborne tucked away in the heart of the Macedon Ranges. The clinic is located in the main precinct of the village, with an abundance of local cafes, restaurants and parklands within close proximity. Gisborne is easily accessible on public transport from Melbourne and Bendigo, making for an easy commute or weekend trip to the surrounding scenic towns. On the weekends, enjoy a wine tasting at the local cellar doors or tasting farm gate experiences with local cherry, olive oil or cheese producers, or visit the historic Hanging Rock site.
