Hahndorf Medical Centre – Practice Nurse

Hahndorf Medical Centre is a family practice in the heart of Hahndorf. Our team and 6 GPs practicing at the clinic pride themselves on providing high-quality medical services across a range of medical practices.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse to join our team on a Permanent Part-Time or Casual basis for 3 days per week.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a caring nature, high level communication skills and attention to detail. Experience would be advantageous, though this is a great opportunity to gain experience in General Practice, with plenty of support and room to grow.

The Practice Nurse will:

• Be willing to learn and work as a team to provide culturally appropriate assessments, therapeutic and education services for clients with chronic disease as required
• Participate in Quality Improvement Activities
• Adhere to relevant professional Code of Ethics guidelines
• A willingness to implement and adapt to change when required to benefit patients, staff, and the wider group

About You

• Current APHRA registration as an Enrolled or Registered Nurse is essential
• Flexibility and willingness to work a range of shifts (minimum 3 days per week, Wednesday afternoon availability is required)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer literacy
