Eastern Shore Doctors – Casual Medical Receptionist

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and engaging Medical Receptionist to join our Eastern Shore Doctors and Hobart Skin Cancer Clinic practices. Our Bellerive clinics are dedicated to providing a personalised, professional, quality healthcare across a comprehensive range of general and specialised medical services. Our clinics have been serving the eastern shore community for over 30 years.

The role is on available on a Casual basis, perfect for someone who has a flexible approach with a ‘can-do’ attitude. Availability on Friday’s is essential for this role, working a minimum of 8 hours per week with option for more hours if required.

Daily tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Excellent customer service – you will be the first point of contact for our patients, both in person and on the phone.
• Maintaining confidentiality while managing patient records.
• Processing payments, Medicare and third-party claims and reconciliations
• Effective management of patient appointment types
• General administration and daily office duties
• Duties as required by Doctors and the Practice Manager

• High level of computer literacy

• High level of attention to detail.
• Previous Medical Reception experience would be an advantage however not essential
