We are seeking a Full Time Practice Manager to join our team. Better Medical passionately believes that primary care needs to be locally focused. About the Role:

The Practice Manager is the first point of contact for all clinical and non-clinical staff and is responsible for effective and service focused daily operations of the clinics.

Responsibilities include:

  • Exemplary leadership of clinic support staff including reception, nursing, and administration
  • Supporting and influencing all stakeholders, implementing best practice while bringing others on the journey
  • Coordinating team members across high volume services
  • Acting as the escalation point for complex issues, leading with a can do attitude to deliver a positive outcome
  • Managing the clinic operational requirements including financial performance, budgeting, service delivery, resourcing, patient bookings, rostering, accreditation and business development.

The Practice Manager will have the benefit of engaging with the wider Better Medical group network of practices, attending key meetings, sharing knowledge, and implementing the business objectives.

About You:

  • You will be a proven Practice Manager, confidently and professionally lead by example.
  • Have a can do attitude, while helping creating a harmonious work environment. Effectively balancing the needs of patients, GP’s and team members.
  • Proven ability to multi-task, listen with empathy and drive enhancements.
  • You will be a true believer in primary care, with the drive to successfully implement process improvement.
  • Ability to empower staff through a culture of education and support, teamwork, trust, unity, and respect.
  • Previous experience in a dynamic and complex General Practice management role is essential. Previous experience with Best Practice and Practice Essentials is desirable.
