Doctors at Morayfield -Registered Nurse

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our team at Doctors at Morayfield on a 6-month contract. This position is for Parental Leave cover, with training to commence in November 2025.

While this is a Fixed Term Contract, our growing practice means you will have the opportunity to continue on permanently if desired.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a caring nature, high level communication skills and attention to detail. This is a Full Time position – Monday to Friday. This position includes covering a busy 3 bed treatment room, including assisting our GPs with skin procedures, iron infusions, venesections, and other general procedures.

The Practice Nurse will:

• Have an interest in care plans or willingness to learn
• Participate in Quality Improvement Activities
• Provide culturally appropriate assessments, therapeutic and education services for clients with chronic disease as required
• Ensure that clients receive education on the use of therapies and treatments prescribed and feedback on the outcomes of therapy and treatment
• Adhere to relevant professional Code of Ethics guidelines
• A willingness to implement and adapt to change when required to benefit patients, staff, and the wider group

About You

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Demonstrated experience working in a Primary Health care setting or within General Practice is preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer literacy
• Full working rights in Australia
