About the Position

An opportunity has become available for a Medical Receptionist to join our friendly, supportive and experienced team at Campaspe Family Practice. We are located in the heart of Kyneton within the Macedon Ranges, we are a busy practice and pride ourselves on offering our patients a range of specialised services close to home.

We have a casual, flexible position available for a dedicated Administrator. The successful candidate will hit the ground running and need to be highly motivated with a sound background in customer service. Proficient computer skills are essential with a knowledge of medical software including Best Practice being desirable.

Daily tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Excellent customer service – you will be the first point of contact for our patients, in person and on the phone.
  • Maintaining confidentiality while managing patient records.
  • Processing payments, Medicare and third-party claims and reconciliations
  • Effective management of patient appointment types
  • General administration and daily office duties
  • Duties as required by Doctors and the Practice Manager
