Adelaide Company Better Medical Expands Across The Tasman With Doctors Tasmania Acquisition

Adelaide Company Better Medical Expands Across The Tasman With Doctors Tasmania Acquisition

Better Medical has today announced its expansion into Tasmania with the acquisition of Doctors Tasmania – a group comprising four practices in southern Tasmania.

Doctors Tasmania was owned and run by Malcolm and Madeline Lovell for the past 20 years and will now receive complete business and financial support from Better Medical.

“The acquisition will enable us to focus on the expansion of two key sites along with employing more doctors to serve our growing patient numbers,” Doctors Tasmania Group Practice Manager Kylie Baxter said.

“Overall, it’s been a really positive experience. The Better Medical team have already started to support current staff through upskilling and expanding roles, whilst also delivering a central management system which will help with the day to day running of the clinics.

“The staff will continue to have autonomy over the business, but we know that we’ve got extra support and resources from Better Medical when needed.”
