University Health Practice has been caring for the local community for more than 20 years, providing comprehensive, patient-focused healthcare in the heart of Adelaide.

Conveniently located on The University of Adelaide’s North Terrace campus, the fully AGPAL-accredited practice provides care for University of Adelaide students and staff, city workers and the wider Adelaide community. The experienced GPs, nurses and administration team focus on accessible, high-quality healthcare across all stages of life.

The GPs provide a broad range of medical services, including general and preventative healthcare, women’s and men’s health, children’s health, chronic disease management, mental health, immunisations, travel medicine, health assessments and minor procedures. The practice also provides skin checks and skin cancer care, musculoskeletal medicine, weight management, workplace and pre-employment medicals, corporate health services and home visits.

The practice has particular strengths in women’s health, including antenatal shared care and reproductive health, paediatrics, sexual health, mental health, preventative medicine, men’s health, diabetes and chronic disease management. Travel medicine and health care for university students are also key areas of care.

University Health Practice also supports the education and training of medical, nursing and Allied Health students, contributing to the development of future healthcare professionals. Specialist psychiatric services are available by GP referral.
