About
Established in 2004, Hobart Skin Cancer Clinic provides specialist assessment, diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer and related skin conditions. Located in Bellerive on Hobart’s Eastern Shore, the clinic was the first dedicated skin cancer clinic in Southern Tasmania and remains the only dedicated skin cancer clinic on the Eastern Shore.
The highly experienced skin cancer doctors have specialist expertise in skin cancer medicine, providing comprehensive skin cancer assessments, diagnosis, management and treatment. The clinic uses the advanced FotoFinder skin cancer detection and medical photography system, supporting detailed assessment and monitoring of skin lesions over time.
The doctors work alongside an experienced nursing team who provide support during skin cancer screening and procedural appointments. Three of the clinic’s nurses hold qualifications in dermoscopy, bringing additional expertise in skin cancer assessment and patient care.
Hobart Skin Cancer Clinic is also a major supporter of skin cancer medicine education and training, contributing to the ongoing development of healthcare professionals in this specialised area.
