Due to ongoing patient demand, Brooke Street Medical Centre is seeking a VR General Practitioner to join the team on a full-time or part-time basis.
Brooke Street Medical Centre has been providing healthcare to the Macedon Ranges community since 1989 and is located in the heart of Woodend. The practice has a strong reputation in the local community and provides a supportive, collaborative environment for GPs.
You’ll work alongside experienced GPs, nurses and administration staff, with access to a broad range of services and multidisciplinary support. The practice has experienced nursing staff and a fully equipped treatment room, as well as a Rapid Response Clinic operating Monday to Friday for on-the-day medical needs.
The practice also has on-site radiology and pathology, with allied health professionals including psychology, physiotherapy and exercise physiology working alongside the healthcare team.
The current GP team has a broad range of clinical interests, including women’s health, children’s health, skin cancer, mental health, preventative medicine, men’s health, travel medicine, musculoskeletal medicine and menopause care, providing a clinically varied environment for incoming GPs.
Brooke Street Medical Centre also supports professional development and clinical learning within the practice, creating an environment where GPs can collaborate and develop their areas of interest.
